Breathe In and its developer take your privacy very seriously. The app does not sell or rent your data. If you want a privacy-first mindfulness app for performing breathing exercises, you can trust Breathe In.
Information Collection and Usage
Breathe In allows you to measure the total number of mindful minutes collected whilst using the app.
The app does not require any registration or login, and I do not request any information that can be used to identify you.
HealthKit Data
If you choose to have Breathe In integrate with HealthKit then the application will only have access to the health data types you opt-in to access.
The health data read from HealthKit is used for display within the app. Only relevant data types are accessed.
Breathe In requests permissions to write certain data types into your HealthKit data store. These are used when you complete a breathing exercise.
In no case is your health data ever transfered to a 3rd party. It is kept strictly within the app, or transfered to your personal HealthKit data store as per your permission choices.
Third-Party Services
I do not use any third-party software development kits (SDKs), including analytics SDKs or any other tools that may collect or track your data. Your privacy is important to me, and I prioritize maintaining a strict "no data collection" policy.
Data Security
While I do not collect any of your data, I understand the importance of data security. I have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of any information you may provide or that I collect during your use of the app.
